World Oceans Day

Join us on Wednesday June 8 for a Beach Cleanup to celebrate World Oceans Day.

Plastic trash is choking our oceans and wildlife. We need to not only clean it up, but stop this pollution at its source.

Here's what you can do:

Help us clean up the plastic debris that collects on the rocky shores of Akumal.

Wednesday, June 8 (8:45 a.m.)

Meet at the basketball court across from CEA offices

Spend 2 hours picking plastics and marine debris from the shore.

Bring a hat and water. Be sure to wear comfortable and sturdy shoes.

Think of the ways you can stop using plastic.

Use cloth bags instead of plastic bags.

Say no to straws

Bring your own refillable water bottle or coffee mug.
